Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

We had a wonderful stay during Christmas. The hotel was relatively new, so the amenities are still in top condition. The staff were all hospitable and very professional. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The spa was excellent too. We had foot and full body massages, no complaints!

I hope there were more food options for breakfast. Rempah kitchen was good but had very limited options. The club had more western options but I think it can still improve.

I appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the team. Everyone was polite and clearly trying their best during a very busy Christmas period.

I’m unlikely to recommend the hotel. Despite booking three rooms for my family months in advance and requesting that they be close together, we were placed at opposite ends of the property. When we raised this at reception, we received generic, unhelpful replies and little empathy, even though this was a straightforward request for a family booking (I understand availability constraints, but expected more common sense and effort to help).The biggest disappointment was the food: both cafés were well below expectation, especially given the high pricing. We ended up walking to the mall next door every day just to get a decent meal.Finally, for a relatively new hotel, the rooms and facilities were not well-maintained and already showed noticeable signs of wear and decay.

We chose Four Points by Sheraton Bintan as a birthday retreat for my husband, and it turned out to be a truly memorable and restful getaway.The resort is beautifully located, with easy access to the beach and nearby eateries serving local cuisines, which made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking — a perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the beauty of nature.We loved spending time at the pool, which was relaxing and well-maintained, and we also treated ourselves to the spa — a wonderful experience that added to the sense of indulgence and retreat. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long year.What really stood out was the warmth of the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay feel even more pleasant. Breakfast was sufficient with a decent spread, and it met our needs well.

The pillows could be firmer, as they were a little too soft for our preference. During breakfast, especially when there was an influx of guests, items like glasses and cutleries tended to run out occasionally. That said, this was not a major issue and did not take away from the overall experience.

Amazing service from staff in all departments. A very friendly welcoming energy can be felt throughout the hotel. From reception to F&B to housekeeping and the spa, staff always found an opportunity to find out more about each of their guests and made it a point to address guests by their names whenever possible. It was a last minute choice to move to Four Points after a disappointing stay at another villa failed to live up to its expectations. I was very impressed with the hotel, the large comfy rooms with balcony and the varied facilities provided throughout the hotel - restaurants, lounge, multiple pools, gym and spa. The upgrade from a garden facing room to a sea and pool view room was the icing on the cake. Whats more, there are discounts on meals and services plus you can accumulate Marriott Bonvoy points if you sign up as a member. Will definitely be back

The stay provides a very good breakfast with many varieties of choices. The room was comfortable, and the bed was nice. The staff there were really friendly to everyone.

The staff was kind.

Services are terrible.The electrical system in the suites does not work properly. I was changed to another suite and it bare improved. They were doing maintenance, so I heard loud noises that came from the top floor. I stayed there to relax. I would have appreciated being informed of this situation in advance, so I can book another hotel. I am allergic to dairy, and there were no good indications as to whether the food has dairy in it or not. They don't even know what "dairy" is. Finally, they could make any discount to my bill, because "the payment was made through Booking.com".

Close to ferry, nice breakfast, ocean view room has a beautiful scenery.

We like the open space concept and beautiful swimming pool design. Direct access to the beach. Beach is clean. Breakfast also nice with variations.

Air-cond is not cold even though we have put the temperature to the lowest. Seems like it is common prob, as we read many reviews said the same thing. Second, there is no beach chair along the beach which is very bad. Many people just bring towel to sit on the sand and just left the towel there. We saw people was dragging the swimming pool chair all the way to the beach which I felt bad about it, photo shared. They just want to sit and enjoy the ocean after making all the way to Four Points. Pls be more considerate, provide reclining beach chairs with umbrella along the beach, people really need it.

Everything. From the friendly staff, to the beautiful pool, tasty food, strategic location.. they all deserve 10 stars.

Whether you're lounging by the infinity pool, enjoying a delicious meal at the restaurant, or simply soaking in the bay views, every moment feels thoughtfully curated to offer comfort and joy.

While my overall experience at Four Points Lagoi was positive, there were a few areas that could definitely be improved.Firstly, the toilets had no ventilation system to properly remove air, which made the bathroom feel stuffy after use.Also, I noticed that the corners of the room and the balcony were not thoroughly cleaned, which was a little disappointing for a hotel of this standard.In terms of dining, the beers and food at the hotel were quite pricey, and the in-room service menu had limited options, which made it less convenient for nights when you just want to relax in the room.Lastly, while the location offers peace and quiet, it’s quite secluded, with not much else around unless you travel out, making it slightly inconvenient for those wanting more variety outside the hotel.

Comfortable hotel with great facilities - large pool and amazing spa. Friendly staff and good sized room.

As is commonly noted, the food here as is the case with many hotels in the resorts area is only OK. A large spread buffet spread however flavours and quality could be much improved at both restaurants. Chicken Satay and Signature Burger were exceptions to this from what we ate. At busy periods the service can also be quite slow. Would be ideal to have a few more umbrellas for the sun loungers.

??????(Three thumbs up)+ Well done on the warm and friendliness shown by all the hotel staff from the point of checking in to the end of the stay. Special mention to Sonia for granting a complimentary late checkout and making certain reservations for my next visit, Sandhi for getting us on the shuttle bus early back to BBT, Ledy for checking us in with a big smile.+ The room is relatively clean and well-maintained (see feedback on 'What I didn't like')+ Options provided on whether to change linen and/or bath towels.+ Two bottles of water daily since tap water is not drinkable. However, if you run off, you can always call for extra bottles at no extra charge.+ Balcony chairs are clean and do not have lizard droppings.+ Pool is well-maintained (thanks to Junaidi whom I've known for a decade since my days at BLR)+ There are always enough towels for all until it is misused (see feedback on 'What I didn't like')+ Thank you to all the hardworking staff setting up tables and chairs for outdoor dining and barbecue. You all deserve special mention for working late past midnight to dismantle the set-up and return to store.+ The location is a less than five minutes walki to the local warung and Plaza Lagoi if you know the way to walk.

??????(Three thumbs down)- The pool towels are being used to reserve the sunloungers as early as 6.30 a.m. This is because there are insufficient sunloungers with cantilever (pool) umbrellas and the palm trees are not mature enough to provide enough shade. Hence, guests actually wake up early, grab the towels from the towels stand, place whatever they have to reserve the sunloungers and then they go for breakfast. Some guests place their things there and disappear almost half a day before returning to cool off at the pool. The other side of the pool with no cantilevers umbrellas are typicall empty. I am aware the cantilever umbrellas cannot withstand the wind and rain during the monsoon months. Perhaps you can keep them during the monsoon months. Please address the guests' needs for shade. I hope there will be an improvement when I return in May.??- The pillows smelled of perspiration and the carpet reeked of spillage that was not cleaned properly. This is despite the fact your property only recently opened in February 2024. The smell could be from guests' perspiration when they sleep. The carpet smell could be from spillage and not cleaned properly. Newness does not stay forever, hence, things like pillows and carpets need to be maintained as well for hygiene purposes.

The hotel made everything hassle free, shuttle transfers, smooth check in, and a relaxing retreat for the whole family. Our kids loved the kids club, fish feeding, warm pool, and playing on the soft sandy beach. We enjoyed all our meals at the hotel. For a local taste, the nearby warung (just 300m walk along the beach) was a great option.

New and beautiful establishment, facilities are very good, staff are amazing and very friendly.I mentioned to the front desk that we are celebrating my son's birthday, and they surprised them two times at breakfast and dinner, and housekeeping left a message for him inside the room. They made my son's birthday amazing.The staff at front desk, both restaurants and housekeeping were so friendly and cooperative.

I like the swimming pool and how the hotel access to the beach so easy and comfort

Food. I would have prefer more local Indonesia food than western / chinese food.

First time I entered the room I noticed that towels were not properly cleaned and had stains, same happened for the ones located in the swimming pool. And honestly, same for bed sheets. Not much attention to that. Restaurant (and food offering in general) should be improved (had lunch once there and was almost tasteless) although breakfast had a good a wide selection. No sunbeds located at the beach…

The property had splendid views, the most hospitable staff and amazing facilities. It was like living in a dream for a couple of nights honestly. Special shout out to Ms Ledy at the front desk who made every possible effort to make my stay memorable with her kindness and help. Also worth mentioning Ms Ade who runs with conducting Zumba and traditional Indonesian dance classes.I was made to feel super special on my birthday with the room decor and the entire team was splendid to me. There’s spa on site as well which is luxurious! Thank you for the most memorable stay ?

Fantastic location. Modern hotel.Spacious rooms.Property is practically located on the beach.Best of all is the staff and services.The entire journey from Singapore to Bintan and back to Singapore was so comfortable and easy.
